Which one out of these 2 would you suggest for a first time away game visitor ?

And why?

For me its Oxford. As much as we like to put down the Grove it's still something SEC fans should witness at least once.

That is if you're not allergic to khaki.

That's like picking between Hell and a farm.

Oxford
More options, can turn it into a Memphis trip
Cool gameday atmosphere
Square is cool too
MSU fans are better though

I agree with this, but would add to

As long as you don't mind driving in from Memphis or 2 hours out that Saturday morning then Oxford by a mile.

Been to oxford multiple times but quit going. It's just not for me, grove sucks and people are tools. Square is cool though. I'm going to Starkville for the first time this year I hear it's a pretty cool gameday atmosphere.

OXford
They hate LSU and the square is somewhat cool place to mingle.

I'm going to both but if you're deciding between the two I'd go with Oxford.

I've been to both and generally have had a better time in Starkville win or lose. However if picking one I'd go to Oxford. Knock the Grove off the bucket list although it is overrated.

Oxford, who wants 3.5 hours of cowbells ringing.

Oxford is easily more fun, but as far as the game, both should be good.

Starkville gets a bad rap. Nice town with spread out campus and a real college football stadium.

Oxfart and THE GROVE are ridiculously over-rated. Most pompous, nose in the air people you will ever meet and they play in a slightly larger version of Bernie Moore.
