How about you show up and cheer for the team and enjoy the very short football season we have.

I do. Every. Home. Game. for the past decade. Two flasks of crown, a comfy gold seat-back and large sprite.

Like I said in previous response, it doesn't make you less of a tiger fan to hold your alma mater responsible for obvious and fixable shortcomings.

You clearly are not a season ticket holder, baw. When you pay the money folks like me pay for season tickets year in and year out, there is an expectation of quality that comes with that price tag (RE: video board malfunctions, concession inefficiency and lack of competency with the game-day production)

The band needs to get their swagger back and rock that stadium. Deaf Valley is not Bryant-Denny or an NFL venue… it's far better, and should go back to the gameday experience that made even Bear Bryant hate it.

Very, very well said.

the stadium experience is horrible - I go to 2 or 3 road games a year ( Starkville and Tuscaloosa this year) - they actually play music that not only gets the crowd pumped but you can see players dancing - why are we the only stadium that has to read ads for cox and AT&T EVERY TIMEOUT.!!! we need to take lessons from other schools

No.

We need to go back to what made us better than other schools.

So because we won a national championship in 2007, your logic says if we do they exact same thing, we will win another national championship...right?

Don't get silly now. 2007 is just an example (that someone else brought up actually). Of how dynamic stadium atmosphere was in recent memory and we had almost no piped in music at all. The point is we basically don't need it at all--the discussion needs to go from less how to fine tune it to why do we need it at all?

Respectfully, I think we just agree to disagree. I think we are just two different types of fans.

I think there is a way to preserve the historic LSU football/tiger stadium mystique and tradition, while working in elements of modern day media production to stay current. There is a fine line to getting it right, and I think we are currently on the wrong side of that line.

Hey at the end of the day, this type of back-and-forth is the exact reason I started the thread -- To get people talking, whether we agree or disagree.

2 tickets every year baw. The only negative about my gameday is fans batching and moaning about every little thing.

It would be nice if the TVs in the concourses worked so one could see the play on the field while having to answer nature's calls for food, drink, or relief.

Something as simple as the radio broadcast being played over a speaker in the bathrooms would be great. They do this at Minute Maid Park for Astros games.

LSU could send out fresh $20 bills to everyone and someone would complain about the way it was folded.

I'd argue they got carried away in the expansion arms race and now the place is too big, which causes any number of problems.

I think about 90,000 seat capacity was probably the sweet spot.

The program seems satisfied with above average results. The excitement around the program just feels all but gone completely.
