Agree 100%
How is an out of state player going to get pumped up by that?
And it's stupid.

Honestly, LSU football makes enough money to hire a guy(or gal) full time for about $45,000 a year to be in charge of that. His salary would be paid off after game one, each season.

you seem really, really concerned about the music played in Tiger Stadium

Not sorry for wanting LSU to have the best stadium experience in all of college football (or even just the SEC).

If you have actually been to a game the past 5 years, you know what I am talking about.

No no, you are missing the point. I am talking about the media team doing the A/V in the stadium, not the crowd cheering or not cheering for the team.

No I get what you're saying. I just wanted to add on that the experience is suffering from what's on the field as well. The music is by far the worst of the problems you listed though.

What really bugged me was during the Auburn game:

Throughout the game they would show 'live updates' for a few games, like the UT-USC game. It was really sad because in the 4th quarter of our game, they would show highlights of the 3rd quarter of that game, even though that game ended before ours even started.

They would never show updates of the games actually going on, just ones that were long over.

I posted this over the weekend but it needs to be said again,

The biggest killer to the game atmosphere is there's a presentation of some sort of group every single time there's a TV time out. It sucks the life right out of the game

You just wrote 7 paragraphs about either too much or too little or not the correct piped in music.

And a video glitch.

All on a day where our team dominated another at 11 am in the morning.

Well, it's Monday -- Two days after said beat down. When would have been the appropriate time to discuss stadium concerns, princess?

Hey George, long time. What do you think about the Auburn game this year where i walked my little nephew down to get in the shade and looked up at the 30" big box tvs still in the concourse that was playing an LSU animation logo on loop. They werent even playing the game.

What gives?

Bottom line, LSU gameday experience has become to pricey. Between being charged to park, charged to tailgate, charged to eat concessions, charged entry into the game, and then all of that results in a 3 hour commute home...

Easier to invite friends over and tailgate in the driveway with cheap food and then watch the game.

People would actually have to fill the stadium up for that.

I think it was awfully nice of you to get your little nephew out of the sun IMO.

Stubhub had tickets for as low as $14. If that's too pricey then pick up a another shift at work?

It's only pricey if you're a sucker like me and keep buying season tickets at full price plus donation through LSU.

Wait, so now we want more piped-in music?

It seems like it was yesterday that people on here were dumping on the Alabama Gameday experience because it’s nonstop piped in junk.

Just wait until they reduce the size of the band and do away with the golden girls because of sexism. Oh, how I am beginning to hate democrats.

Went to games at Miss State this year and Auburn recently. Their gameday experience (with a couple notable exceptions) from kickoff to the final whistle is infinitely better. Everything from concessions to bathrooms to flatscreen tv's in the concourse to the jumbotron not being full of gaudy advertisements...I love Tiger Stadium but it's about as fan un-friendly as humanly possible.
