Am I the only one surprised about A&M being in the top ten?

Agreed. A 7-5/8-4 team is not a ranked team...

I hate preseason polls with a passion, but it is attention, I suppose.

Sporting News’ Matt Hayes ranks 2011’s Top 10 with spring games underway:

That is why Ok. St. is up there despite the expectation of going 7-5/8-4. It isn't a preseason poll. It the top 10 upcoming spring games.

Not surprised. They definitely look to have top 15 talent returning.

Because Blackmon and Weeden are back? I think he is saying that without those two returning they would only be a 8 win team.

BAMA is wayy overrated also, replacing a QB is damn tough... I think either OU, or A&M will cakewalk through the regular season and hope to play for the NC...suck asses

return 19 starters, they should be pretty legit next year and possibly win the Big 12

I wouldnt say A&m is overrated since they went on a streak of big wins and we just had their number..you gotta think to that they started winning games with tannerhill who started halfway though the season.

1. LSU. Until someone beats the SEC in the biggest game of the season, we’ll go with the best team in the best conference.
