I was at the game in south bend in 85. 7 years old sitting in the end zone on the second row. There was no fence between the stands and the field, Gary James scored a TD late in the fourth to go ahead. I jumped up and was hitting his shoulder pads and we were both screaming like wild men.

I don't remember the cold bothering me too bad, but I was watching lsu and staring at touchdown Jesus. The Irish fans were burning tires outside after the game.

03 Arky wasn't cold.

97 ND was unpleasant

00 Arky in Little Rock cold as wet. Painful.

95 Ole Miss - November night game- was coldest to me because I dressed insufficiently warm.

remember Arky '03 being cold, but not anywhere close to unbearable. Also, we only trailed by 7 at the most in that game. Arky scored a TD on the opening possession, LSU kicked a field goal and then returned a fumble for a TD to take a 10-7 lead. Never trailed after that.

Yes, did not mention unbearable, just recall the wind made for uncomfortable although was sunny day; OK must be thinking of another that we were down 14 and came back?
BTW, I remember going to Tulane Stadium with my dad like early sixties on a cold blustery Nov. day and Tigs struggled with Greenies, he was pissed; if any other oldster was there!

Texas A&M in 2013 was miserably cold. Troy '08 was cold but I left early because the state trooper thought I had consumed too much alcohol.

What made both the Bama and Troy games so miserably cold was the gale blowing out of the north each game! It never let up!

I know it dropped a good bit and the upper east deck had a lot of wind. It sprinkled and fizzled and then turned to sleet. Lou Tepper and Thomas Dunson made Jarious Jackson look like Joe FKIN Montana. An old man and his wife (ND FANS) tugged on my sweatshirt when the Tigers came out of the tunnel. "Sit down!" It happened 3 more times in the 1st qtr. I offered to swap seats. He wouldn't. Never came so close to elderly abuse in my life.

Troy 2008 was miserable. I was in the nosebleeds in an empty stadium. Glad we won because I stayed whole time

I've been able to sit in a suite for exactly one game in all my years. Luckily for me, it was the Troy game. I could see my buddies leaving the empty West Upper in my usual seats while I was nice and comfy in the suite.

The coldest game I ever personally attended was against Mississippi State in I believe 1951. If I remember correctly it was in the 20's. and with the high humidity and wind I would bet the "feels like" was close to zero. LSU crossed the 50 yard line 1 time and Cliff Stringfield(?)who was the QB kicked a FG. It hurt everybody in Tiger Stadium foot. I am not sure that MSU ever crossed the 50, maybe once near the end of the game. LSU won 3-0.

The worst coldest weather I believe an LSU team played in was the Cotton Bowl against AR after the 1946(?)season. That game ended in a 0-0 tie.

LSU played in South Bend against Notre Dame once when Arnsbarger was coach and there was snow on the ground from the previous night. The weather for the game was pretty good though. LSU won that game 10-7.

Troy 08 for me by a long shot.

I remember being in the cold wind/rain and down 31-3 and just thinking I could die now and it would be ok.

This was the coldest game I went to. I went as a kid with my buddy and his family wearing my Kevin Faulk jersey, Nike pullover, which was open on the back, and Nike windpants with no liner. Froze but made it through the game. Kicking ND's arse is worth it all the time!

My first LSU game was either this one or Ole Miss '93. I can never remember which one. I just remember freezing in my grandfather's seats in the South Uppers. He has seats right on the railing at the goal line, and the wind whipped through there like crazy.

Wyoming, 1977; and Mississippi State, 1989, would be two of my nominees.

The coldest for me personally was the Utah game, November 30, 1974. The temperature at game time was 38 degrees, with a brisk north wind around 25 mph. I was in the Tiger Band back then, and marching at halftime was painfully cold. Those old wool coats that were so hot in September provided no real warmth in November!

You left out the mist. I was there it was the final game of the season vs. Utah.

I was at the very top of the east upper with two pregnant women. They were troopers the entire game, but I could tell they were miserable.
