Hope so for the team, that was demoralizing. I knew Poche wasn't going to have 3 solid games in a row, I just sensed it. Wished I was wrong.

Haha there it is.

Get over it. Poche was the right move. Move on.

And what if Lange had done the same?

Why is this guy apologizing for not being over the loss?

And if Lange gives up 6 runs then so be it, at least we pitched our damn Ace the first game. Poche is not our Ace and never will be.

That is some terrible logic...

Then we would still lose (since we only pushed 3 across) and we are in the losers bracket without our ace.... see

And Poche has been DEALING lately and WAS dealing. Lefty vs. heavy lefty lineup, it was really a no brainer.

CPM wants to win the whole thing, not just today.

As a pitcher, I've made the same error he made today and it is a frickin killer. There is something about that throw to first for a pitcher. It fricking blows.

Really? I only thought Lange should have started because the past two times he's pitched ahead of Poché, they've been tough to beat. Not sure if it has some psychological effect on Poché or not, and it may be superstitious, but something clicked. Why change it up now?

Either way, it doesn't matter. I don't get paid to make decisions, and my life won't change regardless of what they do in Omaha. I have to go to work tomorrow, just as I would if they had won. There won't be any loss of sleep for me tonight.

I'll never understand the logic in other posters making fun or telling others to stop being upset over a "game played by 18-22" year olds when this site caters to sports played by "18-22" year olds 365 days a year. They're grown men. The "you let 18 year old athletes dictate your life" card is so played out.

And I'm not speaking specifically about just baseball. It happens in every sport. Shooting a fan or poisoning trees is one thing. Voicing displeasures on a sport message board, give me a break.
