There is no point in piling on and trying to make sense of that game, it was just one of those days at the worst possible time of the year. They made fielding errors at the worst possible time and they were little league errors, things they have done since they were 8

Hitting has been in a slump since regionals began.

Managing by hunches is never a good thing.
Let your pitching coach make the decisions!

Well, even without the errors they would have lost. Hitting has to improve a lot. They have gone cold, hope they return!

You right and is why we will win the next one. Think about UCLA the #1 seed getting knocked off in their reginal! When you are the best everyone wants your head. LSU will bounce back a rake in the next one.

Why is this guy apologizing for not being over the loss?

Unlike LSU football, loyal LSU baseball fans here are expected to get over a loss more quickly with the games still going on. I was just apologizing because I knew that was not going to happen.

I strongly believe LSU will too, but that doesn't take away the bad feelings. That a great LSU team shouldn't be playing this bad.

some of you take this shite way too personally. life is much better once you realize its a game and wins/losses don't really matter

Taking it personally is what makes Tiger fans the no1 fans in the country. But doing so is awfully painful at times.

Every other coach in the CWS sent his ace up first except for CM. That was foolish. That's not just me saying it, Dandy Don agrees.

It appeared to me LSU choked, just trying to understand the why. I thought this team was mature and moved beyond that. Coach has to take some responsibility here.

I understand. I think some people have trouble expressing their displeasure without sounding depressed and all "woe is me."

He has never our 1st starter. Super regionals don't count because Poche pitched last game of regionals.

He absolutely is our best at this point. Only a moron would think differently. Screw the whole year, he was the guy to go to in game 1. No doubt
