The perfectionist part of Saban is eating him up right now. A more hungry Urban Meyer out coached Saban last night.

They are loaded with all the frontrunning kids who want to play on a winning team. The D has fallen off. Hell a down LSU almost beat them.

Saban has too many fat guys in the front 7 who don't run well enough against read option teams. They're built to stop LSU. All their power is up from focused on stopping a power run game.
Every time the OSU back burst through the LOS on a sweep it was a good gainer or a long run. The LBs are too big for chasing people down and the secondary took baad angles on a couple of runs.

Didn't the running back set a Sugar Bowl rushing record? Stop the run first didn't work.

They can rag on their defense all they want, but if their QB hadn't thrown those hopeless picks, it would have been a different outcome.
