Something is not right with LSU

Man...what the hell is happening? Chavis leaves us for a program that will probably fire Sumlin in a year or two with a complete rebuilding job on TAMU's defense. We go out and hire a failed DC who nobody else wanted over candidates that had more proven resumes as a DC...or maybe we didn't? Does this situation stink? Maybe LSU isn't what it use to be in the eyes of the nation. We couldn't find anyone better than Steele? I mean seriously? Did anyone forget this is our pride and tradition here?
Has Les ran his course and less are looking to work under him? Is Alleva trying to force him out the door? What the hell is going on?

Add the fact that we never should have made the championship game in 07......just dumb luck. ..And sorry, it was with sabans guys.

It's really starting to look like it. This hire excites nobody.
I mean, I can see the Steele hire from a Miles perspective. He has an absolutely loaded Louisiana class next year and needs a great recruiter. It probably wouldn't be as bad of a hire if they got Coach O and put him in a position as assistant DC/DL or something like that.

I think it's several issues. Miles is definitely a problem. Alleva is terrible as well. The good thing is the fans are finally realizing what is going on and miles and Alleva will be held accountable for this chickenshit operation. Need new leadership in the sports admin that will clean house and right the ship.

I am with you on this. I am an unabashed posi-tiger, but I think the handwriting is on the wall for the LSU football program,. Steele has a proven track record of mediocrity and failure. How LSU has to settle for this project of a DC is beyond me.

To the OP I could not agree more. I have no idea what is going on or who is wears the pants in LSU football. What we've seen transpire in the last two weeks is strange at best.
