I had to look this guy up on Google because I've never heard of him. This shite happens everywhere. A close friend of mine was a police officer in a Sun Belt team city. He broke up fights weekly where football players were involved, called the head coach, and the coach took care of it in-house. You bet your arse that is what happens in Tuscaloosa.

It is fricking absurd that urban suspended a guy who had charges dropped days after an arrest, and nobody knows the facts just in an effort to rehab his own image. Where's the outcry on that bullshite.

Should spend more time looking for a toothbrush than criticizing CLM IMO.

But again, we agree to disagree. I take issue with this kid on campus in light of what he's done and the behavioral examples his given the public thusfar.

He isn't getting a "third chance" from lsu. He was in high school when he thuggishly accepted a bj from a willing participant. That had zero to do with his time at lsu or with les miles.

You are changing the narrative of my disagreement. He committed to LSU, and then had a legal issue. I said nothing of thuggish behavior or the specifics of it. That's for you to get vulgar regarding or attribute to others as if to perhaps advance the side of the issue you agree with.
When he had his legal issue, it prevented LSU from allowing him to enroll. Would've been difficult to let a sex offender enroll. If not perhaps impossible based on University regs, but I'm no authority in that department.
So, LSU allowing him to enroll in 2012 was indeed LSU offering him a 2nd chance. I challenge you to find any articles prior to his transgression at RHS that said he was a grayshirt possibility or that he wanted to "take off a year" or something equally implausible.
In summation, LSU offered him a 2nd chance and is now offering him a third. I'm no fan of it. But that and $6 will buy me either a cup of coffee at Starbucks or a pound of it at the grocery store. The world won't end no matter what the outcome of our discussion in this thread is.

I'm more surprised someone reads Stewart Mandel more than I am about his worthless comments.

I did laugh when I heard Hill's teammates voted him back on the team. I am not sure why it was necessary to have them vote? There was no way his teammates would vote against him anyway.

Can't say I disagree. Not a fan of this kid getting a third chance, to be honest. Just my opinion... [/quote]
What? The dude got in trouble one time since he's been at LSU, where's the other two chances your referring to!

arent the florida teams known fir bouncing up and down and throwing punches at other players? and this happens on national tv.
Dont remember the miami guy going after bowe after the chicken bowl? They are young testosterone filled men. these guys break bones when they tackle people. one fricking punch is nothing.

any incoming ftosh male that got laid in hs is a sex offender.
I had sex with an 18 yr old a couple of days before i was 17. that girl is a sex offender according to ga state law.
In fact, that count should rot in jail for having consensual sex with a classmate.

@LSUBHAMNEWS: @slmandel need some tissue? If this was your boy Saban you would be applauding how he handled this. You are a clown. #LSU

Re-Read the thread again, focusing on my responses more closely this time. It's not really worth it to repeat myself, and your response is making it clear you have issues with reading or at least trouble with comprehension.

Allowing him to enroll in 2012 was his 2nd chance. There's a reason that he and La'El Collins graduated the same year and one is a True Junior and one is a True Soph.
The punch he threw was him pissing the 2nd chance away. The third chance is what Les and the "team vote" gave him this afternoon thanks to a favorable day in court.
Now you made me go back on my word as I just told someone else I wasn't repeating myself. I hope you're happy now.

@slmandel: But hey, Les knows the drill. No one's going to give him a pass if he loses to TCU b/c they didn't have Jeremy Hill. So onward they go.
This is the sad truth. Miles did "the right thing" with Perrilloux and almost got ran out of Baton Rouge. The media/fans only love when coaches make the right call until it starts impacting the win column.
