If we can match his salary, and hear me out, Brian Kelly. I would imagine he is tired of having to deal with a strong academic school, the boosters at Notre Dame are very fickle (just ask Charlie Weis), and the fans there always have unrealistic expectations. He would at least consider coming to LSU because it has become an established blue blood in college football, recruiting to LSU is much easier (better program and better weather), and he will make way more at LSU. And with a track record like his, I pray he comes to LSU.

Nah. I don't want to see him choke out his assistant coaches on the sidelines in tiger stadium.

Is this supposed to mean Weis didn't suck?

This is key. Our fans are conditioned to be 100% realistic.

he has a heisman hopeful returning next year at QB, as well as Zaire if he chooses to return. He's set up nicely.

plus he makes more money then listed.

He's a top 5 coach nationally though. Would be a HR but highly highly unlikely

Don't like him. Looks like a ticking time bomb. Couldn't handle the chicken littles.

Kelly has more 8-5 seasons at ND than Les has at LSU. Too mediocre.

Their fans have unrealistic expectations? I bet 8 10 win seasons in 11 would be great
