while this is true, we didnt even run the I 50% of the time saturday. But yes we do run it mainly from there because it gives us and advantage

An advantage everywhere but the scoreboard and the times in which the weakness of the other team is the secondary or their strength is the line. I can assure you I will not be watching bullshite slug ball this week. I can't wait until Miles is gone from LSU.

well we will see you in 2018 when his contract runs out, but just know, might not be much room left on the bandwagon if you jump off now.

4 runs straight up the middle.

In all fairness the last one was an option and if AJ had pitched it we score.

Did he say why he ran the ball 4 times right in the middle at 2 yards line?

Yep, he's not going to change 10+ years of football philosophy over one loss. He's saying this to pacify the masses. We'll forget about this again until the next big loss and he will repeat this.

Everything will be exactly the same on Saturday.

That's all great, but what did he say about the damn dumb azz calls from the three yard line. 4 runs straight up the middle. Did he say anything about adjusting his ego? No? I didn't think so. His ego is a detriment to this team.

To be fair the fourth run was an option that aj should have pitched to fournette on the outside. Fournette would have walked in but for some reason aj decided to bury his head right into the middle of a dlineman.

You dont have a choice but to watch "bullshite slug ball" when you have wr open all over the field but aj doesn't see them. The issue from Saturday wasn't that they didn't try to pass enough, it was aj didn't see the open receivers and pulled the ball down and ran or took a sack.

Same reason he keeps running play after play, game after game that doesn't work.

Auburn on offense is basically the more talented version of MSU. If we don't play to score a lot of points right off the bat (spread 4 WRs Brandon Harris slinging the rock 35 times), we will be embarrassed.
Duke will eat against this secondary and Coates will get over his dry spell. Grant will have a field day ripping off 40 and 50 yard runs. Cameron Artis-Payne will be picking up 8-12 chunks of yardage at a time. I don't even want to think what Marshall will do.

I don't know what changes they make to the defense, but if they don't make any really noticeable ones, We'll have to score 40+ to win.

we did, the rbs rushed it 13 times for 63 yards out of the pro set. id say thats not bad for an oline that got beat up all night.

Miss St was up 17-0 early in the 2nd quarter... They had no problem with us running the ball out of the pro set and letting that clock roll. The front 7 is the strength of Miss St D, and their secondary sucks. I'm all for looking on the bright side, but come on. Its different if we are winning and controlling the clock by running the football. But down by 17points in the 2nd quarter and seeing how they were moving the ball up and down the field on our D, and still running the ball and not trying to attack their weak secondary? Plays right into Miss St hands.

And the RB with the most success running the ball was LF, 5.4ypc and was looking really good early on and was close to breaking some big runs for us. Yet he only got 7 carries and barely touched the ball the 2nd half.

This was not last year's philosophy. The team was more balanced. TBH, it was simply about execution. We see other teams showing run and they still run more successfully. Our blocking up front has got to get better. Pocic helps with the pass protection up front and does a bit better with run blocking. It just seems he's set on using Porter (I guess to make the calls at center even though he's not shown to be more technically proficient at pass or run blocking at this point). Not sure why Fanaika got benched, because against Wisconsin, they ran to his side 3 straight times to help us win that game. Hmmm. I guess they forgot about that though.

Translation, I'm slow to adapt, accept change, and make adjustments if it doesn't fit my already predetermined point of view.
