Yes it did! I said our OLINE did GREAT compared to what we were seeing from them. I was really surprised. I also said that I did not believe the yards were deceptive but that the score was. Our turnovers kicked our a**.

come on now. you know you got to those BCS bowls by playing cakewalk schedules. similar to the one you play this year, other than LSU.

when you come here youd be playing top flight competition week in and out for the most part, thus giving you similar records to that of vandy or kentucky i would imagine.

Oh, I agree 100% we had a very easy path to a BCS Bowl, and I am not claiming that we will be a regular in BCS Bowls once in the SEC.

But the point of my post was that we won the game over Georgia, actually set the Sugar Bowl rushing record, against the SEC champ that year. Our other BCS Bowl win was against Oklahoma who was vouching for an opportunity to play in the National Championship. We beat them along the lines of 48-21 (don't remember the exact score).

I know you are more intelligent of a fan than to think that Vandy and Kentucky are of that caliber. We also spanked Miss St in our 2 game series with them and took 1out of 2 in our series against Auburn. I;m not claiming to be as good of a program as LSU, just saying we are a much better program than Vandy and Kentucky - no debating that.

Secondly, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable giving away my identity...what if we play you all again (IN conference) and you guys pick me out of our crowd??!!

First off, no one said showing your face in the picture was required.

Second, if someone from this board recognized you they probably invite you over and give you booze and food.

No way WVU comes to the SEC. I read it and heard it on the radio..... something about the governor of Virginia insisted that the rivalry between UVA and WVU stay. Otherwise he wouldn't admit one or the other.

I forget exactly how it was worded. But it revolved around that rivalry.

WVU is a solid program and they will be on the South Carolina level. They will compete for the East just they won't be the favorites usually.

Agree 100%

Every WVU fan knows the SEC would be extremely difficult for us, and we would by no means be favorites to win. But I am optimistic that we could be competitive in the SEC East.

Wrong. Just like i can say, every LSU fan knows how difficult it is to win a bcs title and dont expect one every year. That would be complete bs if you read this board.

This whole thread has been hypothetical if we were somehow to get into the SEC.

And I think you heard some phony info on the other part. We don't play or are rivals with any schools from Virginia.

you can stop trying to insult my intelligence by telling me that you know i am more intelligent over and over.

playing a good team once, MAYBE twice a year is SO MUCH different than almost every week. especially when you have weeks (in your bowl game references) to prepare. you are a big east team that nobody wants right now for a reason. believe that.

and even though i shouldnt, i apologize for the one dude that just tried to ruin an otherwise very nice thread.

My fault. The thing I heard wasn't concrete either, just hypothetical.

It's just what I heard. Doesn't make it true.

I would also like to bet you would not have beaten LSU any of those years. Yes we got stomped by UGA, but we played a ridiculous schedule without a bye week do to Hurricane Katrina. Which all of us have been surviving on fema since 2005.

let us not all forget that prior to 3, maybe 4 years ago south carolina was a doormat in the SEC too. i wouldnt be the least bit surprised if t hey went right back to that after spurrier is gone.

So you honestly believe that Vandy would have dominated the Big East and also crushed a #3 ranked Sam Bradford led Oklahoma team in 2008?

Edit: I really don't like getting into arguments on a message board, I am just trying to have a legitimate discussion.

Thanks NOSait...JP..My goal is to keep it civil. Whether or not we go to SEC has nothing to do with any of us, so, let it be.

I'm not sure how many times it needs to be repeated that the guy selling those shirts was arrested by police for selling those shirts and was smacked in the head with a beer can for selling them in the first place.
