I don't want him fired...Just get more balance in the offense and use your players to the best at what they do...

Very true...BUT he is not going anywhere for at least 5 years ....

That is true and it is sad to think about.

So we "improve" next year and get back to 5-3 and another shitty bowl? BFD.

And if we do better than that?

Your post was indicating that you think we will be worse next year. So under 500 in the SEC? I'd say 3 losses next year as the absolute worst case.

2011: 13-1
2012: 10-3
2013: 10-3
2014: 9-4 hopefully
That's a 79.2% winning ratio

1 NC appearance
1 SEC Championship
4 straight bowl appearances (should be 2-2)
25 to 30 players to the pros

And you ask what LSU has done in the last four years?
Do you know how many programs would kill for that record?

Padded with rent a wins and you know it.

The SEC record is poor and steadily worsening.

So that'll really console me while I'm freezing my arse off at 2 on a Tuesday in the Mediocrity bowl.

Say, we can give out National Champions of Most Players in the NFL rings?

Only thing that matters to them are national championships.

'03
'07
'11 (well, NCG appearance)
'15?

But we haven't been back since 2011 so we are no longer relevant!

There we go again. Double standard. Obviously LSU is the only team that plays cupcakes.

2011 padded with rent a wins? Are you kidding me?

As far as the SEC goes, LSU consistently schedule one of the best OOC schedules in the league. But yeah, we are padding with rent a wins.

Ridiculous.

Spoiled, pathetic, like a child. Are you 12?
Why can't you just enjoy the ride?
If we aren't winning NC's every year then we are failures?
Garbage fan

The ride sux right now.

You guys actually enjoying this nonsense like being happy to go to this joke of a bowl, then you'll be happy for years to come.

If you don't want more, If you don't expect more, if you don't demand more,
you come to expect and accept less, that's what you're going to get.

ETA: I don't know why I'm surprised with this "just enjoy the ride attitude". I'd expect no less from a generation raised on getting trophies for coming in second to last in their soccer and T-Ball leagues.

The bowl system has changed genius.
This bowl is equal to Florida bowls now.
Give other schools credit for having a good year...only bc we are in a down year.
And yes I am ALWAYS a happy when my Tigers make a bowl game against a great school like Notre Dame.

Let me lay it out there for you arse hat. There are two types of people in this world. Those that are content with just enough to get by and those who want the most out of life and strive for success. You my friend are not the latter. So I'm sure things are just perfect for you at 9-4. You need to let go of the "young excuse" be ause hear that nearly every season. The fact is Miles has incredible talent and has gotten by on that alone. He brings nothing to the actual game itself. Someone posted it already but there are numerous freshman QB's putting up numbers and Lets not forget Jennings is a Sophmore.

Well, no one is content with that either. But those that aren't screaming bloody murder understand that there are down years. They are not content, they want better. The other side of the fight is projecting 5 or more SEC losses next year. Doom and gloom is all they know.

Here's your problem. You talk about 'being happy all the time' like it's a bad thing, apparently you want to be miserable...

quote:

If you don't want more, If you don't expect more, if you don't demand more, you come to expect and accept less, that's what you're going to get.

...and there's the proof. No team is going to win the NC every single year, yet you're saying we should expect it and demand it. With your expectations, demands, and wants, you will always be unhappy.

quote:

The ride sux right now.

Then get off the fricking bus. There's another one heading to Tuscaloosa, why don't you go ahead and jump on that one?

Let me warn you, if you demand NCs every year, expect to be disappointed in Tuscaloosa as well. With your attitude, you will forever be miserable. Some of us follow LSU for entertainment, not to justify our misery.
