Also UL is the perfect example, they don't have the best athletes out there but with competent coaching on the offense side its a night and day difference.

Torina will always recruit talented kids, actually I think the best has yet to come. The 2018, 2019, 2020 classes are absolutely stacked. She is masterful with pitchers, she knows how to develop them and how to call pitches.

If she can have a more potent offense she will be in Oklahoma City EVERY year. Offense philosophy needs to be a strict priority this off season. It can be fixed but it will need adjustments.

Also, still not impossible to come back. It'll be hard but LSU is more than capable. Just need to come out and attack today

don't generalize all of them. same thing applies to LSU. you have haters on both sides and it is stupid.

It'll come down to pitching and LSU limiting fielding errors. Correct me if I'm wrong, but LSU is pretty deep at pitcher, yes? What about ULL?

We also have a true freshman who is 15-2 with a 2.20 Era. Teams batting .200 against her

Yes, Coach Mike and his staff are so good on that side of the ball. Not taking anything away from the athletes, but his offense approach to hitting, and swinging the bat, are top notch.

Can't LSU study and/or steal his batting techniques?

Agree with this 100%. Her struggles are with position players. She is pretty stubborn when it comes to certain players and her line ups. We have obvious weaknesses in our line up that she has completely ignored or refused to address the last few seasons. Our position player development has lacked far behind our pitching development.

Was watching Arkansas and Oklahoma...last night.

Convinced me LSU, despite what numbers we might have, is the least aggressive hitting team in the SEC. All these girls so unequipped getting up to bat and hoping like heck they get walked. It's the old "I will swing if i have to" mentality.

Special shout out to Jenny Jones, CajunTigersSaints, and Hendersons Hands. Although I haven't seen y'all posting on the Rant today.
