I figured Griggs will slide into CF. There will be one open position in the OF. I would think any "SS" recruited to LSU could play OF without to much of a learning curve.

I mean there is are many reasons why we are under performing. I feel like these pitchers have no faith in their defense. TBH I don't blame them at times, they do screw up way too much. Corbello has lost a lot of confidence. I have heard rumors of Walljasper having some shoulder problems and fatigue issues. Selman is just inconsistent with her control. She can be spectacular or a hot mess.

I have some very strong connections within the softball program. Torina is beyond irritated with the current situation. I do know she has told some of the players that if they don't step up now that these elite players coming in were gonna take their positions.

Hopefully you're making that up because that'd be a really fricking stupid thing to do when you have a #3 ranked team with a shot at the national title this year. Their current performance would make a ton of sense.

top 4, Quinn leading off, chopper off the 3B glove into left! Ruled an error, Quinn on 1st, no outs

Andrews bunts, throw from the pitcher to 1st gets away, Quinn moves to 3rd! Andrews on 1st, Quinn on 3rd, no outs

Missouri making a pitching change

Landry grounds to 1B, apparently tagged out, Andrews to 2nd, Quinn scores! 7-2 Missouri, Torina arguing the tag

she wasn't tagged on replay, Mizzou got away with it

Bell grounds out 4-3, Andrews to 3rd, 2 outs

Jaquish pops up to shallow left center, inning over

All of the WCWS games are "road" games. You aren't winning a NT committing 2 errors per game. It simply will not happen. This is not a championship level defense. If they do not get it together, it might not even be a WCWS level defense.

Someone else I know mentioned this as an option as well. I think B was a P/SS in high school though.

I would think that is a comment that you should keep to yourself and leave in house.

No they're the definition of neutral site games.

They commit two errors a game in losses not in all games.

I don't see behind the doors, but I don't think Torrrina doin enough during games to help get these ladies their confidence back that they need.

There is zero question that Bell and Jaquish will be in the line up. Now, Jaquish will likely play 3rd with Kloss catching. Bell could move to DH. I am unsure of Shemiah Sanchez's defense. I have heard plenty of her bat. Now, if not she can DH. Satchell could play outfield. Move Griggs into center. Have Serrett play 2nd. Simmons is fine at 1st. There will be lots of experiment this off season from what I am hearing. Whats nice about our incoming classes is how versatile everyone is. They can play multiple positions well.

This is true. As well as the many bats that have gone cold.

bottom 4, leadoff walk, runner on 1st, no outs

single up the middle, runners advance on a wild throw to 3rd, runners on 2nd and 3rd, no outs

single to left, run scores, runner advances to 2nd on the throw to 3rd, runners on 2nd and 3rd, no outs, 8-2 Missouri

Selman gets the strikeout! Runners on 2nd and 3rd, 1 out

grounder to Kreamer, catches the runner coming home in a rundown, tagged out, runners on 2nd and 3rd, 2 outs

Quinn drops the fly ball in right, 2 runs score, runner on 2nd, 2 outs, 10-2 Mizzou

flyout to left to end it

I simply do not see any reason to believe Kloss or Jaquish will be the full time catcher next year. They weren't last year, they aren't this year, so why would BT switch next year? I could see it being more like last year if one of the freshman can actually hold 3B and hit. One catches and hits, the other is the DH.

From what I have heard, Serrett is the best glove, Sanchez has the best bat, and Satchell would be the middle. I have not seen them play to form my own opinion though. Simmons will not move from 1B. I am unaware of another player on the team with a history of 1B play. The next recruit at 1B isn't until the 2016 class from what you have posted on here.

They aren't in Baton Rouge. The team plays a lot better in Baton Rouge than anywhere else.

Okay, so they don't make 2 errors a game. IMO, it's still not anything near a championship defense at this point.

I am a little concerned the girlsmay not mauntain a top 8 for regionals the way they are playing now. They are looking really bad. There is a chance here they could get run ruled.
