Hopefully the Baylee Corbello experiment as an SEC level pitcher is done for the season and these great group of girls can bounce back today and even the series. Weather shouldn't be a factor it seems and hopefully they can find their rhythm at the plate. Expect Walljasper to get the start and hopefully she can hit her spots early and build some confidence. And Beth can save Carley for Monday's rubber game.

How do you really feel about Baylee? Did she kick your dog or something?

Yesterday was a terrible day for her but terrible for the entire team as well. She is 9-2 on the season, carried us last year and bet BT might have different thoughts, as it's her opinion that counts.

AJ has got to make that play.

Wow... She killed that ball. We need some serious bats to get going today. Come on girls!

I think she is a great young lady. Just not sure she is ready to lead this team. That's all. I really feel bad for her. Without her last year, it could have really been bad.

Bats need to be much better. Corbello has been pretty bad lately but she isn't the worst pitcher in the world. She did carry the team last year. She looks like she has no confidence though. The only thing that scares me about this team is when there is something that goes wrong once, we seem to let everything snowball out of control and fall apart.

Im estatic though for this coming recruiting class to get to campus, Amber Serrett and Shemiah Sanchez will be nasty. Tbh I can see Serrett taking Quinns job from 2nd. I think Amber has a better bat or about equal but her defense is unbelievable. Sanchez has a huge bat.
Sydney Smith will be ready to take the field as well when she reaches campus. She could easily be our second best pitcher.

I never said she was the worst pitcher in the world... She just lacks confidence and the ability to work through tough situations like Hoover and Walljasper seem to be able to do. This pitching staff will continue to get better! Glad to have all 4!

I agree, Corbello has worked through jams plenty of times against elite teams. I just think her confidence is shot right now and shes over thinking things. She will be fine, she is only a sophomore. Usually sophomores go through weird slumps sometimes but there is no doubt she has talent and is capable of being a big time pitcher.

Maybe so. Hopefully she can build the confidence and become the leader we need.

We have got to stop leaving 2-3 runners on base. We do it way too often to beat elite teams.
