Another opportunity lost. Had bases loaded and Landry who itink was the spark during that winning streak struck out to end the threat. 4-0 missouri. Long weekend if tge girls cant get gack in it. So far missiuri's pitching is outshining ours.

Kramer will actually be a good one. She looks much better the more experience she is getting.

I wonder what the core of Walljasper's struggles have been? she's been getting rocked lately

That's what young teams typically do. When you jump on someone, it's fine. Easy to play relaxed. When you consistently make errors, or walk batters, they tighten up and continue to do the same.

If 2 of the incoming kids do not replace some on this infield, some serious questions will have to be asked about their talent. I think 3 of the incoming have a chance to play serious time, if they can hit D1 level pitching. No position should be secure based on the defense. I realize Bell and Jaquish are not leaving the line up, but the combination of infielders has been bad, really bad. Averaging 2 errors per game on the road? Terrible

3 programs in 3 years and still not an everyday starter? Sorry, I just don't see it.

Also, with TB357's talent assessments of the incoming kids, it makes me wonder if she will see the field next year.

Taylor Satchell is highly underrated. She has made huge waves over the last year. Serrett and Sanchez will be somewhere in the lineup. Sanchez will likely DH. Her bat is way too valuable. Bell will never leave SS until she graduates. Quinn has been horrible. Way too many errors. Her bat is very inconsistent as well.

I would not be surprised to see 3 freshman get some significant playing time next year.

I would not be surprised to see Satchell play 3B, 2B or take the OF position that becomes open. From everything I have heard and seen, she really is the definition of a utility player. I think someone said she was even catching for her travel team.

That said, the hitters will play. This is clear based on the games we have seen this year.

I have some very strong connections within the softball program. Torina is beyond irritated with the current situation. I do know she has told some of the players that if they don't step up now that these elite players coming in were gonna take their positions.

This isn't fun to watch. These girls need their confidence back. They have way too much talent to play like this. Bianka can't carry them all be her self.

Satchell, Serrett, and Sanchez will definitely be given a lot of looks next year. Smith will definitely see time in the circle for us as well. I am very curious to see who replaces Andrews

Do you think Bell could move to semi-permanent DH if these 3 freshman can actually carry the load in the field and at the plate? I have to believe the 3 incoming kids you mentioned are better fielders than her. Someone told me at a game that Bell was a 2B coming out of HS. Any chance she goes back and Serret takes SS?
