Alleva made it perfectly clear that Miles has been his man the entire time.

I see where you're going with this, and I like it.

There are tons of openings in college football right now. Les is a wounded duck in Baton Rouge. Surely these schools with vacancies are trying to lure Les away from the mean-spirited group in Baton Rouge?

You really should feel stupid for making this thread.

Only LSU is stupid enough to target a coach who is still hired and has no intention of leaving his current employer. Just saying...

Plus now the entire country is now painfully aware of the $15MM buy out

Miles has a 15MM buy our IF LSU fires him..

IF Miles chooses to leave there is no 15 MM buyout.

Supposedly there are so many schools that would want him. I think not. The truth is that Miles would have been hired at a directional school if he were fired.

Asking the same question on the CC board. Schools know what went on these past two weeks and the short leash he is assumed to be on next year. And he makes a manageable 4.3 mill here. Why wouldn't UGA offer 5.5 and more stability for an obvious upgrade to Miles? Scratching my head on this one. Think UGA thinks they are les of a program than LSU? How about USCw? I can't figure it out!

Come on guys, please don't act as though no one approaches a coach who is currently employed. At least give a genuine response to the question.

Given the way this went down, is it that hard to imagine that another school wouldn't offer an alternative to that terrible fanbase and administration that doesn't and will never appreciate him? I'm sure the huge buyout has something to do with it.

And you missed the first sentence in the OP that any logical person would deem reason enough to never make this thread.

I and many others think it's a very reasonable question when all the pumpers claim he is such a great coach...his name is never mentioned for NFL jobs or other college jobs. What does that tell you? The NFL doesn't respect his coaching ability? Texas pursued Saban...why not Miles?

As of last year Miles had a mealy 1.25 million buyout clause if he left for Michigan.

There is no buyout if he goes to any other school.

Any school can come and get him and they are not.. Why is that? Supposedly he is such a great coach why is he unwanted by all other NCAA schools?

I mean its not like he was coaching at kennesaw state before here.

He took okie state from the gutter and made them respectable and has maintained LSU at 9-10 wins per year.

Hes stale here and we want something fresh but theres plenty of schools that would not mind that resume if he were available.

As it is hes a guy that despite all indications was to be without a job within hours was smiling and pushing away reporters to sing the alma mata. Had his family on the field and smiling and hugging. Face it. Hes engrained in the university and football program and hes not the type to uproot his family because he doesnt like Joe Alleva.

I thought the kobe vs les Miles thread was the worst I have ever seen. This one is definitely worse.

The main message of this thread is that you are butt hurt.
