We are 4-0, 2-0, and #5 in the nation. Where did you see us before the season started going into the 2nd week in Oct.???

Other than Harris and his R's struggling to get their passing game going, what exactly is this teams big sin? What hasn't this #5 ranked team been able to overcome to this point in the season that requires its own fans to continually beat it bout the head and shoulders???

Amusing to me is the fact that last season going into our 3rd SEC game LSU was 0-2 in the SEC and completely out of the national picture and this yr. LSU in 2-0 in the SEC and #5 nationally, but still the same drama queens are running their mouth negatively bout LSU football.

Go figure.

You're always downplaying LSU's strong points and focusing on LSU's weaknesses. LSU's "quality opponents" (according to you ... I think USCe, WKU, and Arkansas would be nice wins but I'm just way too happy with LSU wins and shouldn't be as much of a sunshine pumper) have weaknesses too and every college team has weaknesses and none of the coaches are perfect. Miles (one of the winningest coaches in the last decade in college football, btw) and LSU will likely compete well with all of the teams on their schedule and I'm sure some of them will come down to the final minutes and could go either way. I'll be happy if they go our way.

Yeah, that was the weakest part of my post.

Basing a successful season of a game/playoff you get VOTED into is the dumbest thing I've ever seen you post.

that's silly b/c we've never been prevented from playing for the title when we were in the running

i mean you do realize you're trying to minimize the importance of a national title, right? and for insane reasons i might add. if we had been denied entry i could see it, but we got in once with 2 losses

plus, we've only won the SEC once since jimbo's QBs left anyway

5-0 (but we can't help that one non-win)

our defense, which should be our #1 concern

that's just luck. MSU and AU were a lot better last year than they are this year. our early schedule was killer in 2014

We have flaws, but we are the only team in the conference that has never trailed this year, and more importantly, we have the means to correct and/or mask our flaws.

the difference in AU/MSU from year to year is luck

are you saying that AU/MSU are of similar caliber in 2015?

I'm not sure we do. These same flaws have been here for 8 of Les' 11 years here.

What gives you confidence that he can fix it now.

I'm just saying that LSU is 2-0 (really good chance at 3-0 after this week) but, according to you, that's nothing to enjoy. Just shake your head, point out the problems, and wait because bad stuff is on the way. Just you wait.

Well, for starters, we have the talent on offense that we had in the 3 years we were successful.

The players that we need are on this roster, and that is as refreshing as it gets IMO. Miles has a knack for playing up/down to the competition, so I fully believe we will be ready for UF and the rest of the schedule.

I guess you're right about the expectations. College football is my favorite sport and LSU is my favorite team and I'd like to enjoy it. I'm not going to ever enjoy LSU football if I'm only going to be happy if we win national titles. I just don't see how that's reasonable. Pretty much every fan in the country would constantly be miserable because, like I said earlier, every team has its problems and no coach is perfect. I guess I just don't get it. Sorry.

do you think SFP wants bad things to happen in the future because he's critquing the team? Unreal. there has to be some deep rooted issues you guys are dealing with to not accept constructive criticism without turning into a bunch of crybabies.

That's not what I'm saying at all. Not even close. Good stuff is happening all the time but it doesn't matter to him because, as he says, his expectations are higher than mine. I just don't get it and think it's kinda funny but I'm sure he thinks the same way about people who thinks like me (unless numb people don't think anything is funny, which could be the case).

What's wrong with high expectations? The coach is making top dollar, tickets aren't cheap, people donate a lot of money. The facilities are top notch and they have the athletes. Doesn't it reason that high expectations are to follow?

Many coaches are highly paid and many people donate top dollar at many schools and many schools have top notch facilities. LSU wins more than most of those schools. That's good. We don't win a national championship every year. So I guess that's a reason to become numb to the whole thing?

I don't know. I'm not the one paying the coach or donating the big money so I guess I'm seeing it from a different perspective than some. I'm just trying to enjoy watching college football on Saturdays.

I agree with high expectations, but to suggest anything less than a national title is a bad year is a bit extreme.

i think it's pretty normal that people are always wanting improvement regardless of the current state of affairs. I'm guessing he's a big fan of LSU, wants them to succeed, and trying to find areas to get better. Not sure how that's hard to understand.

i'm not asking for a natty every year

we haven't won one since the players our former coach recruited and his OC developed left

we have the same issues almost every year and they are not only fixed, they're being nearly doubled-down lately

i could either get absolutely frustrated, give up on LSU, or become numb and accept miles will be miles and he won't change

if you want to be a rational fan, those are literally the only 3 options

i chose the last path
