Jimbo Fisher pro style. We have the WRs for it, plus we have some serious TE talent, serious RB talent, and Brandon Harris in his second year.
ETA: Actually now that I think about it, I want the offense Cam ran in San Diego with Rivers, Brees, LT, and Gates.
Add in some run concepts like jet sweeps, fake jet sweeps, read option, speed option, plus other misdirection plays, and you have a seriously legit NFL style offense for the college game.
That offense with the Chargers, was consistently in the top 5 for scoring and top 10 for total yards ever year in the NFL.

Pro style with a QB that can make all of the throws.
50/50 run pass is the best offense. It saves your defense when you control the ball you win.

Alabama's.
That is the best offense for our personnel and doesn't frick your defense or require a mobile QB like Auburn's or A&M's.
It is the perfect modern pro offense. You can still pound and ground. You can air it out. You can have a Mett at QB or a runner. It's very versatile.

Because of the HOF talent. Brees, Gates, LT. Cam's offense is great with Elite talent. THe problem is that you don't always get elite talent every year.
I like Bama's offense better. They have a little Seahawks in them. Kiffin's offense is a modern pro offense and it's creative. I mean, they've made a pretty good college QB out of a fricking running back in Blake Sims.

Let's not forget they were going up against an awful D.

Their offense has played well against everyone except us. Amari Cooper had his worst game against us. He catches a few of those passes instead of dropping them and that game turns into last year's game in the 4th qtr.

I wanna run the Texas Tech offense.
Light up the scoreboard and lose 8 games a year.
Screw that run oriented offense that wins 8 games.
I want me some excitement.
Trow dat bawl.

This may sound like a cop out, but an offense that wins games. I don't have to be entertained...winning is all that matters.

Smart dynamic offense that spreads the ball around, controls tempo and keeps defenses guessing and on their heels, culminating in looong drives of 10+ plays that grind defenses to dust.

Anything beyond middle school level would be nice

Use the passing game to setup the run. Get LBs and S in pass coverage then hit them with a run. stop passing out of these 1 WR sets. Spread out the defense more to create running lanes.

So you are saying he had nothing to do with that HOF talent? Brees first started under his watch. LT was in only in his second year when Cam got there, and that was his best stretch of his career. Gates was a freaking basketball ball player before Cam got a hold of him. He brought in Rivers and they had the #1 offense his first year starting. Most of his team was either very old guys or very young guys that he coached and put in a great system.
He then did it again by going out and getting Pitta, Dickson, Rice, and Flacco. His offenses were pretty freaking good there as well.
He even took an athlete in Randle El, and made him very servicable at the worst school in the Big 10.

Sims was a dual threat QB in high school so no, not a "fricking running back". Kiffin's offense so far is, throw it to Cooper. I'll wait until next year to judge his play calling. He does nothing special to me.
