This was more than rumors or a clumsy move by Aleva. What happens to BoS member Anderson given his comments to the media helped light this firestorm? What comes of the boosters who clearly put some effort together?

There needs to be some reckoning. This was a shite show. And Les still needs to clean house if he stays now. This is a mess.

Aleva will hide behind his "no comment" stance.

I do wonder if LSU lost tonight if it would've mattered

Somebody needs to be held accountable for this debacle.

Alleva looked stupid. Our school looks stupid. And now les says the offense doesn't change?

Worst of all outcomes.

pretty much... and in the mean time, the price on Fisher was driven higher, making him even more expensive if we try to go at him again next year, after the inevitable..

I do too. I mean it sure fricking looked to me like Miles found out with the rest of us he was going to be coach next season. This thing was an unmitigated disgrace and embarrassment to LSU.

Well, all of this originated from somewhere and I'm guessing it wasn't Alleva

Miles gave every indication that he found out he would stay on after the game, which leads me to believe he would have been gone had LSU lost.

If that is true, Alleva is completely incompetent. You don't fire/keep a guy based on one game against a mediocre divisional foe.

Couldn't agree more.

You don't drop a line about waiting until the end of the season to evaluate your staff and act like that will hold serve for 7 days while the smoke turns to fire.

No, but something got out of hand. It's not normal to have a board member announce the coach is all but fired. It has the appearance that this was a failed effort that had too much involvement from official LSU people and it couldn't happen without money men. This can't happen again.

The money people that wanted him gone sit on their money (meaning they don't give any to LSU)and Miles gets canned next year.
