Jumping over the top surely wasn't the call, correct?

Looked like a pitch left, but Guice went the wrong way.

I'd ask O, but he was too busy hydrating to be in the huddle.

A toss left designed to stretch the defense to the pylon. Look at the blocking on the left side. Everyone of them is blocking on the outside shoulder expecting the ball to be run wide. #5 went the wrong way on the snap.

Fake FB dive and pitch to the outside for Guice to take it to the pylon. Generally speaking it a play where maybe the RB has one guy to beat, and I would bet on Guice.

That would have been a great call. If only everyone knew that was the play that was called.

someone went the wrong way the qb or RB.
if he would have followed the FB we win, also looked liked the end was sealed so he could have bounced it out.
?? not sure what happened.
but the 3rd down call sucked. everybody saw that one coming.

Looked like it was supposed to be an extended C gap run intended to take advantage of Florida's pinch. Wanted to Create an Oklahoma drill between guice and DB for one yard. The play was called during the timeout. the question I have is: was the direction checked at the line and guice didn't hear the check or was it designated left on the sideline.

People could say what they want, but if Guice goes the right way, he scores easily..

Maybe we needed more time physically on the practice field?

That game was a classic Les Miles game. In fact, it looked VERY similar to our 2012 game at the swamp. That's why we need a real coach who isn't going to play a broken running back for funsies AND make him the focal part of the offense for almost half of the game.

on 4th dn, LSU called the play "pylon" ... Fake FB dive and Etling quick pitches left with Guice running to the pylon.

5 went the wrong way and the rest is history ..... poor execution summarizes this loss

Look at the LOS in that pic. No push by the OL at all.

Jeff Grimes and the best five philosophy has been a failure at LSU. Love his personality, but he cannot project a lineman at the next level for his life. Consequently, he will not be missed when he is told to GTFO.
