If they have watched LSU under Les Miles, then they understand.

Easy. Pop the tape in and tell said coach to evaluate LSU and Miles last night. When he quits laughing, he will ask why LSU waited so long.

Ill do it for a cool million. A good enough support system of assistant coaches with the talent in louisiana and whoever it is will be at least as good as Les's last 5 teams

Compete for a national championship every year

So who out there is winning 11 games per year over the past decade and thinks it's a good idea to leave that situation?

Seriously...names please.

Yeah, Florida State hasn't bounced back from canning Bowden.

And Nick Saban specifically turned down the Alabama job because of their ridiculous expectations. That's why he went back to Toledo after winning 2 Super Bowls with the Dolphins.

I know some folks who will sell you some Enron stock.

After all, it performed GREAT right up until the last few quarters.

Soooooooo....you are a "buyer" right?

*cough*

19-10 over his last 29 games...

*cough*

No division titles in 4+ seasons...

*cough*

10-8 in his last 18 conference games...

*cough*

6-8 in his last 14 division games...

Winning a non-BCS bowl game to get to your ten wins doesn't count. We haven't had ten regular season wins in 4 years if you count this year, in which we were clearly not going to get to ten wins. Factor in the consistent offensive issues since the departure of Jimbo and the consistent lack of discipline and game management...it's not the same

One that saw the product on the field for us and thinks that if Les could do that how much better they would be.

Coaches who are at the highest level love challenges, and aren't afraid of the possibility of failure.

Most also realize Les wasn't fired solely because of the w/l record. The ability to recruit at LSU will attract almost any top notch achiever.

So it starts...

LSU should just keep some jackass for 50 years until retirement.

This isn't the railroads jag off.

There are expectations with this job.

A coach who wants to make millions of dollars, have his pick of the best recruits in fertile territory, top notch facilities, a 100K seat stadium and the best conference where he's got a shot a national title every year.

Any coach who isn't a pussy would love to be at LSU.

One that wants to have the highest paid staff in the country in the best conference with the best collection of talent to recruit from.

Hopefully it will be one that has more top 10s than NRs his last 5 years.

One that is competitive, believes in himself, and wants to be a champion.

Someone cut from a different cloth than you.

Come on, everyone knows LSU has been in decline the last few years. We lost 5 games last year and were headed for probably 6-7 losses this year.
