So we scored 56 points...

Brandon Harris passed for 250 yards and had a QBR of 95.0.
Leonard Fournette rushed for 200 and scored 5 TDs.
We held the top scoring offense and top passing offense in the country to under 28 points and 7.0 yards per pass attempt.
We dominated the LOS, harrassed Mahomes all night, accounting for 6 sacks and 29 rushing yards on 26 attempts.
And we didn't give up any big plays on ST.
Anyone else finding it hard to find something to bitch about today?

We still can't beat Bama?

My point is the same as yours. I wanted Miles gone btw but objectively speaking, there's nothing to bitch about after this game. The season is a different story.

I'm happy the team showed up and played well. Liked Cam on the sidelines.
Sucked we had to play in a shitty bowl against a 5 loss big 12 team.

There was nothing to bitch about, great end to the season
Then around 9:30 or so, Ross Dellenger reported LSU is fighting to keep Steele. Now I have something to bitch about ;)

All of this is true.
But Texas Tech's defense is awful. Our offensive are no where near this against a defense with a pulse.

I'm happy with the result...unless you don't want me to be.

We should have scored 70 and Fournette with at least 300 yards. How can anyone not see this and be disgusted with this performance.

In fairness, Tech wasn't very good

It sucks that we showed up against a shitty team and all the positives are super happy because they think this actually translates to something meaningful next year when in actuality it'll be the same old song and dance.

I thought it was a great performance, but I don't put any stock into throttling a team who only ranks ahead of Idaho and Eastern Michigan in Rush D. We've all seen what happens when we play anyone in the top 75 of that category.
Great game like you said, but far from indicative of our season, or what's to come.

With that kind of production how is the QB NOT above 100 in passer rating? Not looking to be picky but you can't be pleased with overall Offensive execution.

It was a nice win. That's all. It was a minor bowl game against a weak opponent. We got some nice pub for number 7 on ESPN highlight reels.
And as usual we played down to our opponent. Much of the game was far closer than it should have been. The tipped interception was the big turning point. If they had scored right there we might well be having a different discussion this morning.
It doesn't change the fact we got inexcusably mud stomped by Bama, Arkansas, and Ole Miss.
It doesn't change the fact our Athletic Director rightfully wanted to fire our Head Coach and the program is in internal turmoil.
and we lost a top QB prospect.
It doesn't tell us much about our team as the opponent was relatively weak so it's not possible to project much from this win onto next year in the SEC.
It doesn't change the fact we're sitting home watching the playoffs on our sofas looking forward to NextYearU (Again).

Look, Gman. Nobody here dreamed that type of overall performance would have been possible this time last year, where we went 8-4 (4-4) in regular season play and then lost to a woefully outmanned ND team.
If you don't see growth and potential with Harris, Fournette, Dupre, and our linemen on offense, and the same with Jackson, Toliver, Adams, Key, and Godchaux on defense, then I'd hate to be you today.
We have an extremely gifted and extremely young core of players on both sides of the ball who really came into their own last night. As long as we can get solid LB play next year, it will be truly, truly special.

Dude. I hear that every year. We're NFL U and have nothing to show for it since 2007. And the last 3-4 seasons have been downright embarrassing.
What gives you hope for a turn around this time?
