He just needs to transfer to where he can start.

That is the new thing, most players won't have to wait two years at this point if they're willing to play at a smaller school.

Impulse decision where it looks better from afar. He'll need another year and possibly someone to get injured to get a shot.

Or....he transfers to Tulane after this year to compete for the job.

Who gives a flip about an overrated qb scared of competition. He chose Ole Miss so let his career prosper or die. Our QB room is stacked and set up very well for the next 5 years

Funny that some people acted like it was the end of the world at the time and still some whose instinct was to knight for the kid.

We shaped our recruiting around him during the 2 years with the highest level of HS qb talent the state has seen in decades.

When is the last time we have had 3 high 4/5star guys AND a solid 4 star QB in state in consecutive seasons?

We made Howard “our guy” and let manning and Holstein go because of that.

Then AFTER those guys have signed he transfers.

And does so to an in conference in division rival.

That’s what someone with no chest does.

Underwoood

Actually, we have

Nuss
Rickie Collins
Hurley

Underwood is presently committed but it's a long way to December.

Still a great QB room

Who? Anthony Maddox is in this class and he seems like JAG. I didn't see any 2025 commits.

You could say the same for a certain Mr. Nussmeier.

“What we’ve committed to is an open mind and an open process where you can go in, and we’re going to give you an opportunity to continue to grow,” Kelly talked of LSU’s plans for the quarterback position this spring. “That’s going to allow both of our quarterbacks — and Walker — to continue to grow as quarterbacks at LSU.

CBK clearly had no plans to have Walker compete for the job. He went out of his way to exclude Walker from the competition with that comment.

Many hear don’t want to admit it it because they have a love affair with that dude for some reason but he was told to find another place. He’s just not good enough.

It is funny to me that the kid who was just born here(Nuss) has stayed true and loyal to LSU, while the kid whose dad played here, mom went to school here, the whole nine, bailed the first chance he could. He would right now be, at least on paper, competing with Nuss for the starting spot. Now at OM, he is for sure the 2. Appears the family or the kid made a poor choice. Happy LSU has Nuss

Why should he let the clear third string take reps away?

Unfortunately that’s not how college football works now

It’s been so long I forgot about him. If he’s not playing he may want to go to McNeese or UL Monroe where he will play and have some film for the NFL

In addition to Palmer & Quinn previously mentioned, I would add Dwight McGlothern & Landon Jackson. They did pretty well at Arkansas.

I just never understood this transfer. Anyone know anything, why did he leave?

I used to post that he never showed that much potential (IMO). And he's really small. Got massively DV'd, but he's just not that good...

NO- none of those guys will still be here in five years; probably gone after three

It’s as good as we can ask for. It’s not like we’re going to stop recruiting QBs.

He probably won’t stay at OM either.

And probably shouldn't. His window of opportunity is closing and will be closed before he knows it....I wish nothing but good luck to him.
