Take off the purple and gold glasses. Kids transfer to places where they think they can play sooner. Howard thought he had a better chance to maximize his opportunities at Ole Miss. No one can say hey that was a terrible decision just like staying at LSU would have been a good decision as well.

I don’t blame him

Oh the horror of an established coach not bowing down to an 18yr old and his butt hurt daddy. He sure proved his point though huh? “I’ll show them to disrespect me and keep me on the bench. I’m transferring….. to sit on the bench.”

He probably won’t stay at OM either.

The transfer made complete sense for him. He saw the writing on the wall here and decided to try somewhere else. He didn't know he'd be riding the bench there but he knew he'd be riding the bench here.

There has to be more to it though, did his dad get butt hurt?

I doubt it. Even after death threats, by retarded fans, his Dad still was a big contributor to. LSU.
Why can't simple minded understand you can be an LSU fan but play sports at another university.
He was not going to play here, why not go where he maybe can play.
Daniels left and he was a starter. How did that work out for him?

He wanted a chance to play. He wasn't going to get that at LSU. As It turns out, it never materialized at OM either.

NIL.

I’ve spoken to a few friends who stated OM brought him in to compete w Dart, and gave (“paid”) him the best offer.

Can't speak for his transfer out, but the few videos I've seen on social media, he looks happy at OM. He's close with their #1 TE and his family.

I don't think it's terribly complicated. He probably thought he had a better chance to eventually start at Ole Miss, considering he was behind Daniels and Nussmeier at LSU.

Maybe he will graduate at Ole Miss and transfer elsewhere, or maybe he's happy just where he is. Regardless, I certainly don't have anything him.

My opinion he wasn't completely sold on LSU ,he was looking at ND hard it seemed like so when things got a little rough he bounced
