Peaceful protesting is one of the most American and patriotic things you can do.
What about a communist group protesting, advocating for the overthrow of our government. If it was peaceful, is that and "American and patriotic" thing to do?

I said peacefully protesting is american and patriotic. Not the causes.

But I think it's fair to consider the substance of the protest before you label all peaceful protests as "American and patriotic."
Again, a peaceful protest to overthrow the US gov't isn't "American and patriotic." Yes, they have the right to do it, but just because a protest is peaceful doesn't make it patriotic. Not at all.
