It's good...you drive a Camry, your wife's not too fat, you supervise 3 others at work, kids'll be okay, and you eat out at Capn D's twice a month. Life is great at 10-2, Cap One Bowl. What else is there?

We lost…..as soon as Arkansas beat Ole Miss. The New England Patriots would have lost to Bama Saturday night.

We'll need to win these next three in convincing fashion, Bama to drop another one; and a Clemson, OSU, Baylor, and/or ND loss.

This is not correct. If Bama drops another one and we win out, we go to Atlanta. If we win the SEC with one loss. We're in.

ETA: Nevemind me. I'm an idiot. Didn't even see your second paragraph before posting my reply. I'll go ahead and downvote myself now. Carry on.

That was our national championship. There really isn't much else to it. 10 and 11 win seasons are great but at the end of the day if you're not one of the final 4 it's all for nothing.

Bama gave up 5 turnovers in the Ole' Miss game and managed to keep them close. LSU got dominated in ever aspect of their game with Bama.

If you can't see the difference in how each team lost their game, then I don't know what to tell you. Bama came out of the Ole' Miss game with everyone knowing they were still the better team. LSU came out of the Bama game knowing that they really don't belong on the same field as Bama.

People walked away from Bama - Ole'Miss saying, "wow, Bama fricked that one up".
People walked away from LSU - Bama saying, "wow, LSU got completely dominated".

Why not? ND still has to play Stanford; OSU still has Mich. St. & Michigan to play; Baylor still has to play TCU and Oklahoma St. Clemson will likely finish undefeated.

So explain this to me - Alabama has 1 Loss to a non Top 25 Ole Miss ...

Actually, Alabama lost a close one to #15 Ole Miss after shooting themselves in the foot repeatedly, along with an incredibly lucky TD pass from Ole Miss... but then went on to beat three ranked teams; #8 Georgia, #9 Texas A&M, and went on to LSU. Ole Miss's current ranking doesn't matter...after all you wouldn't say that Alabama beat a #9 LSU - they beat a #2 LSU.

Not me. I thought Ole Miss beat them twice. This season's going to get interesting. They never led in the game and was always playing catch-up. The only tie was at 3-3 early in the first. They were down 43-24 with 10 minutes to go in the 4th quarter.

It wasn't close, they just made it look close at the end.

First off - the Ole Miss game is in the past, but since it has been brought up... Bama fumbled 2 kickoffs inside their own 20, gave up a freak of nature tip drill TD pass, the ole "is my toe past the LOS or not AU pass/run play" for a TD and Bama had a total of 5 TO's in the game...plus Bama started the backup QB to give Ole Miss a chance - and with all of that said, Bama losses by 6 with a chance at the end to win. Yep, sounded like Bama got crushed!! NOT!

But Ole Miss won, just like Arky just won - schatt happens on Saturdays!
