EMU vs Wyo

This is EMU's lone win, but watch their O and D lines getting blown off the ball and shoved around. Thats what make them so bad. Our boys should have fun with this one

Rant will find something to complain about, even if we have 700 yards and win 70-0

LF7 should have 50-75 yd per series until 2nd string is put in, if EMU's line is truly that bad. We will be watching 2nd and 3rd stringers 30 min in to the game.

Why the frick are we playing these guys?

I really think that the Southern player who was paralyzed is a testament that some schools just shouldn't be playing big name power 5 schools.

The school gets paid a boat load of money to essentially put their subpar athletes on the field to get abused.

EMU has had better teams than the one that is coming to town this weekend. LSU can't control what EMU will look like years down the line when they come to town.

EMU is FBS.

I agree with you about certain FBS vs FCS match ups though. Needs to be some oversight into this, but it's hard to see where one draws the line.

An upper level FCS school from the Southland or MVC can hold its own just fine, but schools like Savannah St. really have no business being on the field against D1 caliber athletes.

Thing is, those schools are always going to take the money. The shame is on the powerhouse programs for stooping so low. Pretty shameless to roll up 70 on a hopelessly overmatched opponent but that's how the sausage gets made these days. The move to a 12 game season only worsened this issue.

I think it is more about funding their athletic department

Dumbest thing I have heard on here in a long time- and that is saying a lot. The SU player got hurt while blocking the kicker. Had nothing to do with him being at an FCS school.

When my dad went to Tech he worked for the math department, so he use to tutor athletes in math and at the time he got a football player the week after the played Miami in the late 80s, he said that following Monday the poor guy had two black eyes and cleat marks on his neck
