So, did all the coaches we targeted turn us down?

It seems like we probably got turned down. At least they took the easy way out, rather than fire the guy only to go to a coaching search.

I think we only targeted one coach. If it wasnt going to be Jimbo it wasnt going to happen. Too risky. I dont think Jimbo turned us down but also didnt commit 100%. He probsbly wanted to wait till season was completely over and LSU couldnt wait any longer. The whole thing had gotten too big. All the support for Les made it very hard.
