White fumbled a punt against Florida, not sure how that BDPs fault. Kehn has been shanking shite since before BDP. We got better as the year progressed on our coverage lanes. Yes the pooch kick was not the best but it actually worked to some degree.

Also BDP is an elite recruiter. Just best to keep him.

Well let's look at his track record.

2008 LSU (co-DC/LB) - Fired/Told to find another job
2012 Northwestern State (HC) - Fired
2013 Kentucky (STC) - Fired
2015 LSU (STC)- Worst special teams ever

So I guess you can be a shitty coach as long as you can recruit.

As the old saying goes, there are two types of coaches, those that have been fired, and those that are going to get fired. It's part of the business.
I think he is a valuable part of the staff, and he can recruit his butt off.

If we're going to keep the main goofball, might as well keep them all. After all he was hired not once but twice by the GOAT LSU head coach. He's probably a "good man" too, so it would be a tragedy to fire him. I'm sure ESPN would agree.

LSU is a recruiting power house because of geography/recruiting territory, budget, facilities, ability to send players to the NFL, and Bradley Dale Peveto. Not necessarily in that order.

He is our best recruiter

huh?

It goes:

Wilson/Orgeron
Raymond (close second. Very, very close)
BDP
Ensminger

And MVP to Thomas

Are people trying to act like the special teams weren't indefensibly bad this season?

Are we gonna ignore that yes they started off really bad but improved greatly by the end of the year? To me i wish they took him off linebackers and just concentrate on ST or the other way around and have Miles do special teams. ST coordinator should not be a position coach too.

He was also ST coordinator in 2005-2007 and those ST were pretty good.

How quickly we forget what Jeff Grimes did just a season ago.

He wasn't fired from Kentucky. Won't argue with the rest.

Yes, the special teams had a big drop off in 2014 as well.

LSU special teams improved in every single category from 13-14 except punt coverage.

People really like making shite up on here.

So who are you going to follow since LSU doesn't seem to fulfill your needs?

Some of you really don't get how important peveto is to this recruiting staff. Special teams was bad but he's ranked as the number two recruiter in the entire country right now on 247. Do some research.

but can we afford 2 "admin" coaches?

ensminger and BDP are a luxury that we may not be able to afford, esp with a CEO-type coach who isn't directly involved with an area of the team. that's the bigger issue. if BDP was a LBs coach and recruiter only nobody would down him. we have to have him coach STs b/c so many of our coaches aren't really involved in coaching and are focusing on recruiting or gameplanning

So now BDP is the lifeline of LSU FB?
This may be the most absurd thing I've seen on this board since I've been on it.

Miles must step in. Unacceptable results last year.
