I bought a single ticket in a bama section for the Bama/LSU game in Tuscaloosa 2005. Bama led 10-0 at half and the Bama fans were so damn nice. Once we made our comeback in the 2nd half all of that changed, they began to despise me. Finally, after calming down from Jamarcus pass to DBowe in the endzone to win the game I look over and see a middle aged male Bama fan w/ his face in his hands crying while his wife consoled him by rubbing his back. One of the greatest moments of my tiger fandom

Arkansas fans in Little Rock are, by far, the worst fans I've come across. It doesn't help with there Calling the Hogs and "that's another Arkansas Razorback... FIRST DOWN!" high school-type cheers.

I was the only person in my section for Tuscaloosa last year, no purple anywhere to be seen. I had no problems, everybody was very kind and respectful. Had some very nice conversations, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Oh, I've spent many an away game sitting amidst the enemy. 90% of the time it leads to some sort of physical or verbal altercation.

I'm from around Auburn, and my uncle was a season ticketholder. Usually I end up on their side. I've sat in the opposing stands of Florida and Alabama too.
My philosophy as a fan is to try to have a sense of humor, leave the game on the field, and attempt to be the best representative of LSU that I can be. There are always a few idiots who make everyone else look bad, but I've found that most college fans are nice people who love their team and appreciate others who do the same — even though we want our teams to slaughter each other on the field.
