WHY doesn't ticket office have a system in place to avoid single seats on same row? There are multiple lower bowl premium single seats that are on the same row that could become two side by side seats by simply moving sold seats down one seat to left or right. That would be too easy I guess.

Because season ticket holders should be able to sit in their same seat every year if they want

I know we can be drunk and belligerent at times, but if you just ask us to scoot over a seat or two, we might actually agree to do it.

Unless that will give you my seatback, then you can GFY.

Some long time season ticket holder align with people they have sat infront of or behind for years that they still want to do so. I know I wouldn't want to slide further to my right because there is a real a-hole down there.

If it makes you feel better, if you use the LSU system to "choose your own seats" for single games, it will not let you choose seats that results in a stand-alone single after your purchase.

I agree with this...I am sure LSU has the right to move people one way or another.

I assume they could call each season ticket holder to get consent if they felt they needed to.

I'll make it even easier. Allow season ticket holders to "swap" instead of making you release tickets via the selection process.

Why would it matter if two season ticket holders decided to swap their seats and assume the price differentials?

The guys I sat by last year B&G'ed about trying to get rid of the singles next to them for years.

Just buy 2 single tickets in the same section and row and try to get them together next year. Last year was my first year getting season tickets and I had never donated to taf before. I bought 2 on the same row but 7 seats in between in the lower bowl southeast corner. I donated a little bit to taf last year and this year and was able to get 2 sets of tickets in the Southeast corner this year.

Prime example: My dad has two tickets in Section 208 row 4. The seats are 4 and 6. He's tried for a few years now to swap one of his seats for seat 5. Now, the seat goes empty more often than not. But when that person shows, we have to ask to swap.

Worst part was when seat 5 got a padded seat. That sucked because his seats don't have those and they didn't want to swap in those instances.

I'd be curious how much you donated and when your selection time was. I have three in the bottom part of the west upper and would like to pick up a pair in the lower bowl next year. Corner would be great.

Your dad can pay the $50 or $60 per season and get the padded seats too. Then seat 5 will swap.

I Agree 100%

Seems like they could easily do that .. I''m not sure what could be the reason.. Especially when the seats are 2 or 4 seats apart... And when the people between the seats agree to move over one seat to put 2 singles together.

But I think It could be a issue if they wanted to put more the 2 singles together and if the seat were too far apart like:

X X X X 5 X X X X X X X X X X X 17 X X X = This example would call far 11 people to move over 1 seat. That could be a issue.

X X X X 5 X X X 9 X X X X X X X X X X X = This example would call for 3 people to move over 1 seat. That could be easily accomplished.

Well what would be easier if there is 2 or more seats together, singles must be chosen on the end. Right before I picked last week I seen a single in someones cart directly in the middle of 5 seats, just stupid. This could be done without moving anybody, and it would eventually work out. Singles can only be chosen on the ends of seats together, keeping other seats together.

For most games usually after halftime me and whoever I brought got to slide down and sit together bc people always leave early. I'm just glad I only had to do the for one season

They had a single seat on my row I ended up buying right next to my two season tickets. For years no one sat there and finally I asked the ticket office about it and they added it to my tickets.

My guess is a lot of them in the north end zone or probably used by students to get in and walk to student section.

because some no name schlub could go from the corner of the east upper to the 50 yard line 25 rows up if he had a buddy that wanted to get rid of the tickets, then all the people that have donated thousands to be eligible for those tickets would get screwed.

The better question is if the ticket holders are in the same section. For example, I have 6 tickets together, but they are pairs of tickets on the isle on 3 consecutive rows. If I could get the holder next to me to swap my 2 for his 2, then I would have 6 more together. I understand the policy for donation purposes, but if this is not impacted and it would simply make fan experience better, then why not?

I hear ya , it wouldn't effect any moving to a different zone or real upgrade like moving from one section to another. A simple request you would think.
