Single Season Sack Record going down today?

How nuts would you gwaux if Arden Key steals the show today and breaks the record? I believe he needs 3 to tie.

Hope he gets it - if not today, then vs A&M. Extra impressive considering we are playing one less game this year, and it would have been against a 'lighter' opponent.

1989 Oliver Lawrence had 12 sacks on the season.

Sam Montgomery had 9 in 2011, which is where Key is at now.

With 2 games left and 1 cancelled.

If that's the case, then we are NOT playing one less game this season. Key is just not getting the benefit of an "extra" game. Season was only 11 games until early/mid 2000's or so.
