Pistol Pete making 30 of 31 free throws vs Oregon St.

Pistol scoring 69 vs the Gumps

Yes TQ had a very good game...outstanding really, but that doesn't mean it was even near the top 10 of all time performances in a single LSU game in basketball.

48 points and 53 points in 2 games his first month as a freshman at LSU. Finished averaging 30.2 points a game. Had 55 points in one game his freshman year.

Scored double figures in 63 of 64 career games, with more than 20 points 52 times, more than 30 points 28 times, more than 40 points 11 times and more than 50 points four times

Holy shite. I am assuming these numbers are accurate, that is insane. Has anyone ever had better?

Yeah, the guy that ranks first, fourth and fifth for most points in a single season in NCAA history. Averaged 44.5 points in 1970, 44.2 points in 1969 and 43.8 points in 1968. No shot clock or 3 point shot at that time.

Pete scored in double figures in every one of 83 career games.

Pete scored more than 20 points in 82 of 83 career games.

Pete is the NCAA all time leader with 28 games scoring more than 50.
