I wonder if it really bothers Miles or not, that he may never beat Saban again?

You have to create it as a presumption at this point, no? When looking at preseason schedule you know 11-1 is the max until we rebut the presumption. It is what it is.

Don't get used to it but stop getting excited for the game. No point in that anymore.

You don't think Les cares about losing to Bama? The man is one of the best coaches in LSU history and after he's gone all anyone is going care about is his record vs Saban. His legacy is tied to Saban and Bama. He cares.

Since 2000... LSU has 9 wins to 8 losses against Alabama so which year are you referring to?

I guess until proven otherwise. I really don't know.

It's frustrating no doubt.

He cares, but he isn't smart enough to take into consideration different ways to attack Saban and his defenses.

If he cares, why doesn't he let his coordinators scheme away from Bama's teeth!

I think Les had only 3 W vs Saban, including the 9-6 anomaly where they missed 15 field goals.

I doubt he dwells on it nearly as much as some here do. He's got a great overall record, and he's got another team to play next weekend. Probably sometime in the mid 1st quarter, he thought
"shite! this isn't going well, we can't run the ball with the best back I've ever had".

Near the end of the half, he probably thought something like "Ok, they just hit us with everything, and we're still standing. I think we might just pull this out... what? a 55 yd field goal? Ya gotta be kidding me".
Then "Damn, Derrius, look for the gunners son. Gonna have to fix that before we get someone killed".

Midway through the second half, he was already probably trying to figure a way to get the team's spirit back up for next week, Fournette in particular.

We won the fricking game.

So lsu wins its an anomaly? Why are you making excuses for saban losses? Great LSU "fan"
