I don't know, CBS has a shite load of commercial breaks. This might just be another excuse for them to take one.

I already emailed athletics@lsu.edu and a short respectful email request couldn't hurt. At the very best it makes us look good. That, however, is not the reason I did it.

Westboro says their going to protest the funeral.

Where will this be at? I'm sure there would be plenty of people that would be happy to help them find their way off a cliff.

You know that's right.

ETA: And we'd all have alibis. Nobody would have seen anything. The camaraderie brings a tear to my eye.

ABsolutely, yes. God Bless his family and all Razorback fans. I know that if I lost my son , I would sure appreciate recognition from an opposing team in this same situation.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to this young mans family, friends, the entire Arkansas program...but this "moment of silence" crap burns me up. Lets have an actual PRAYER.

To offer an outsiders view, one of the most emotional moments of any sporting events I have attended was the moment of silence Auburn had before the 2007 Iron Bowl for Siran Stacy and his family . JHS was scary silent. LSU should do the same for Arkansas Friday.

I'm Christian, so I don't have a problem with prayer, but sometimes silence screams the agony and sympathy so much louder while giving those who do the opportunity to pray. It's not about an argument between one or the other. It's about him, his family, and teammates.

without a doubt. football is a brotherhood. players might go for the big tackle and to crush the other team, but a player's life has to be respected.
fans and players will pay due respect to a sad loss of a young kid
