50-50 IMO. We need the new line to gel and at the same time get harris or jennings as much practice as possible.

I say we throw every play. No one will expect it.

They're gonna have to throw it some. McNeese returns a pretty good team. They are gonna give LSU all they want

I dont think we're helping ourselves at all to throw it 15-20 times and run it 40-50 times. I would like to see a balanced attack, not a run on 1st/2nd down every time type of deal and mostly only throw on 3rd down. We need to mix up the playcalling like we should be doing against anyone else. sorry McNeese St has to be the sacrificial lamb.

No offense to McNeese but we're going to steamroll them no matter what. Way too much to overcome on their end. We spotted New Mexico State 4 turnovers last year and still won 63-7.

Throw early. Run late.
Gotta throw to develop rhythm and chemistry with relievers. Run late to protect the QBs and pad stats for LF7's Heisman run.

Reverse that and set the tone for Harris with a good deep touchdown. Just like SHS game last year when Dural scorched 'em early.

If he gets in a good rhythm, it'll do wonders for his confidence and we're in for a hell of a ride.

No. McNeese returns an experienced team. That team was barely over .500 last year. And they lose a veteran QB to boot.

They'll be sky high in the first few drives in the first quarter. But they won't "give LSU all they want."

Huh? What? Who was that QB???? Daniel Sams is still here.

As far as the subject of this string.

Hell, yes, run, run, run. Whatever you do, don't throw it deep or throw it to your TE's. ;)

Whatever we need to do to sustain drives. The ground and pound is not going to cut it throughout the season. As I have said before, an offense centered around a ground game leads to more third and long situations. That doesn't mean when you have third and 7,8 and nine yards you throw 30 yards downfield. You have to have 8 - 10 yard pass plays to rely on. That was missing last year. We have the outside receivers and tight ends, so do it !

Just win baby!

Let Buga do work. Practice the timing routes in the passing game. Hope that no one gets hurt.

I wish they would show the whole playbook, who cares if other teams see it, they still have to stop it. Auburn doesn't dumb down their offense, neither does OU, A&M, Baylor, TCU etc

Start out running with a few passes mixed in first 2 series, 50/50 next 2 series, pass a good boy next 2 series, then run most of the rest of the game with the backups

No need to embarrass a team and good way to get young players some experience

Lol. This will be a glorified scrimmage and we should treat it as such. We should throw it 75% of the time to work on our passing game. We won't though.
