This. I would like for LSU and Tech to play every year but they would have to come to some agreement about a home and home like they did with Tulane.

Why on earth would you want to create an in-state rivalry? We're at the top. Legitimizing someone else by playing them every year only hurts us. Besides, not having an in-state rival is a GOOD thing. Rivalries are great for fans, but bad for the school.

We should never play another in-state rival unless they can prove that they can consistently have winning seasons at least.

LOL. I hope your kidding because if not wow...

This board should require IQ tests upon joining. We can even go as low as 80 and half of this board would not qualify.

There seems to be minimal upside and lots of downside risk to playing A&M. If we win, that's as it should be and might possibly sway an occasional east Tx recruit. But should we lose...

TCU is on the schedule for a home and home in '13 & '14 I believe. I would look for TCU's home game to end up at Jerry's Death Star stadium if they don't go ahead with their home stadium renovation.

I would like to schedule a game in Houston every year at Reliant Stadium against A&M or Houston. Would be great for recruiting and essentially a home game for LSU with all of the LSU alums in the Houston area and not a bad drive for Louisiana LSU fans.

A&M does NOT want to play us. They used to be in the 60's and 70's the 1st game every year. They do not want to give us more exposure to SE TX athletes and for us to beat the shite out of them. It would be PERFECT to have the Sabine River Rivalry each year in Reliant Stadium with 50/50 seating.

Why cant we just move on from the Tex A&M LSU deal? Couldnt we push for a rivalry vs just about any other BCS conf team? I'm all for dropping one of the in state games.... pick up a CUSA or any BCS conf team

A & M is still pissed at us for discontinuing the last series with them several years early. Their band is about the only thing they have going for them these days. Like some of the rest, I would vote to move on over the A&M series. No, I am not real fond of playing any of the in-state schools. There will come a time that one of them will get lucky and get the best of us, and we will never hear the end of it.
