I think a lot should determine who is hot, who we are playing, and similar circumstances. The other rbs and the line should be good enough that it doesn't matter. I will say we should use him more against bama and arky.

Yes, absolutely. Especially since we have several other incredible backs to tote the rock.

Tell that to Tre Mason. His total carries number during his final year at Auburn was 317. He had three games with 30+ carries and had 46 carries alone in the SEC title game.

There are still plenty of workhorses in college football.

But we don't want Fournette to be one of those work horses it would benefit everyone if he shared the load

And they go to LSU so they don't get over-worked and burned up before they can cash in. Tre had an OK year with the Rams in '14 but didn't hit 1000 yards rushing/receiving.

the only wear and tear will be what he dishes out to the defense.

You are silly. Run him no less than 230 times in 2015 (based on 13 games). That's not even 18 carries a game.

What does one have to do with the other? Carlos Hyde ran for around the same amount of carries as Hill, and couldn't get past Gore.

This is a nice example of how the carries should work out

Fournette 230
QBs 120
#2RB 90-100
#3RB 70-80
#4RB 20
#5RB 20

While it's ok to add more backs, I think three RBs and a QB are more than enough.

Do Johnny Musso or Charles Alexander ring a bell? Great college backs who got beat up in college and didn't do much damage at the next level. I still can't figure out what Mark Ingram's deal is.

Can't argue with that stat because it's right on.

Is someone letting their child play on the computer again? Some of these questions. So, to be nice and not hurt some childs' feelings, I will explain it. You don't want to take the chance of Leonard getting a bad bobo because he would lose millions of dollars when he grows up and plays in the NFL. Carrying the ball too many times while in college could do permanent damage.

I really believe for the 1st time in the Miles era, we will have a feature back. Fournette is a special talent that doesn't come around often, Fournette at 15 carries is as good as any back behind him. Fournette is a thoroughbred and Miles is going ride him. I think Miles is going to give him the touches to compete for the Heisman.

Do you not remember Ridley in 2010 or Hill in 2013?

You don't consider Hill (2013) a feature back?

Johnny Musso 574 carries (any 3 year starter would have as many carries)
Charles Alexander 855 carries (4 years)

Herschel Walker - 994 car in 3 years/ 17 year pro career
Marcus Allen - 932 car/ 16 year NFL career
Thurman Thomas - 956 car/ 13 year NFL career
Tony Dorsett - 1163 car/ 12 year NFL career
Thomas Jones - 809 car/ 12 year NFL career
Eric Dickerson - 790 car/ 12 year NFL career
Marshall Faulk - 766 car/ 12 year NFL career
LaDainian Tomlinson - 943 car/ 11 year NFL career
Steven Jackson - 743 car/ 11 year NFL career
O.J. Simpson - 674 car in 2 years/ 11 year NFL career
Ricky Williams - 1011 car/ 10 year NFL career
Tiki Barber - 651 car/ 10 year NFL career
Eddie George - 683 car/ 9 year NFL career
Matt Forte - 833 car/ 7 year NFL career (and counting)
Adrian Peterson - 743 car/ 7 year NFL career (and counting)
Chris Johnson - 624 car/ 7 year NFL career (and counting)
LeSean McCoy - 584 car (2 years)/ 6 year NFL career (and counting)
Ray Rice - 910 car/ 6 year NFL career (TBD if he'll be back)

I think I caught a got damn cramp in my hand

Point is, amount of carries don't mean a thing. It's all about the RB in question.
