for one would like to see Shepard being able to continue his career in whatever way possible, but DB? Seriously?
At this point the best way for Shep to make a roster is his versatility. He was a pretty decent tackler on special teams. He'll probably never be a starter in this league but, he's chances of making a roster improve if he shows he can play special teams, offense, and defense in a back up role.
NFL coaches love versatility when it comes to filling out the end of the roster.
