I'd take Flynn over our current QB's anyday I don't care what color he was, dude was a winner.

Define a lot? Numbers don't say a lot better. It was bc he was in a competent offense.

Statistically Flynn was similar to Brandon Allen in 2014 and LSU fans called him garbage as much as they could until a couple weeks ago. I mean I thought it was hilarious 2 weeks ago when some of them asked why we couldn't get a QB like Allen.
I think the national championship overshadowed just how flawed Flynn was.

Patterson's brother did have a job at LSU, courtesy of CLM. He was let go & the door did not hit him in the butt. Too, the father has been described by multiple sources at multiple schools as being one of those "helicopter dads", always circling around, sticking his nose in the coach's business.
