It seems he said he had a master's degree from Troy State and he didn't.
Why this wasn't smoked out when he coached with Johnny at UNT and now all of a sudden it's a big deal is decent question, but there you have it.

This happens seemingly every year. I'm always amazed that these things weren't discovered sooner.

The stupid part is that the job doesn't require a master's degree. If true, then he was fired for a false resume, not for the lack of a master's degree.

Maybe I'm being naive, but I would think just about everyone would be subject to dismissal if it were found that they falsified their resume. Regardless of what school they worked at.
