Yep. Without MJ, Pippen would be one of hundreds of other players that we don't talk about much anymore.

Pippen > Shaq.

Sorry but it's true. Without Pippen, Jordan is the Allen Iverson of the 80's/90's.

Jordan played without Pippen for five seasons and had a losing season everytime. Pippen was the true engine of that team and one of the true GOATs.

Why even say this? You are comparing a supporting SF to a focal point Center. They are both good players. What Jordan did without Pippen has zero to do with Shaq.

Krause would have someone else if not Pippen. What did Pippen do without Jordan?

Pippen actually did good for the 1 1/2 year without MJ.
But for the argument Shaq>Pippen. I love'd Scottie but MJ and Shaq in their prime are the 1st 2 that I would take.
FTR, I'm mid 30's, so anything before mid 80's I just know highlights and stats.

Shaq in his prime is better than any Laker, including Magic. Shaq was in his prime as a Laker. He's no doubt in the starting 5 and he's the focal point of the team.

you may need to take off your purple and gold glasses by the way who won that series???? Is shaq gonna talk about Nolan Richardson's teams next. Yet another team he could NEVER beat.

Without Pippen Jordan has zero championships, but he still would be considered the greatest player in the history of the game - so no, not Iverson.

A lot of people don't realize how dominant a player Michael Jordan was. They make hair brain statements like this one. Yes, without Pippen Jordan doesn't win 'ships. But what they fail to realize is all it took was one all star caliber player for Jordan to get the job done. Whereas today it's takes someone like Lebron to play with two other all star caliber type players, and he is still 2 for 6 in 'ships.

Jordan took Chicago to the playoffs before Pippen arrived all by himself because he was Chicago. He torched the Celtics for 63 in one of those playoff games, but couldn't seriously win without help. But he scared the shite out of Bird and Co.

I love Shaq and think he's a great ambassador for LSU. However, I don't understand why he's so thin skinned.

I'm a big, Shaq fan. That said, this argument is moot. Shaq wouldn't be in the Lakers' All-Time starting 5.

Dude.... Shaq is the most dominant player in the history of basketball. He was an unstoppable force. If he had a little more discipline in taking care of his body he would arguably be the greatest basketball player in history
