just make him the recruiting coordinator and let someone else be the coach. not the shaq would do that unless he was really really bored, but it would be awesome

Not a good idea. If he failed at it, it'd tarnish his image.

Under normal Circumstances it's not the best idea, but hell, I'm all for it. I'd b more pumped about watching a game w the big man out there. & yes, I really do think it would help w recruiting. But it all sounds absurd doesn't it?

If we are just throwing out ex lsu players, how about Randy Livingston? Young coach, strong ties to New Orleans and the state. Either way, I'd love for him to at least get a look as an assistant..

What makes you think he wouldn't be an excellent coach? He was one of the greatest big men to ever play the game. I would not be surprised if Shaq started breaking down xs and os.

Why would Shaq want to waste his time? I've never heard him say he has a desire to be a coach. He already recruits for LSU anytime he's in front of a camera. LSU would be much better off just finding a real coach with his own staff.

Shaquille as the next coach is beyond stupid.

actually thought about this before last nights debacle. shaq as hc brings pub to us instantly.. gives us pull nationaly. bring in Rickey Blanton as his asst coach. Blanton knows the in and outs on x's & o's. johnson is horrible how many years is it gonna take to teachem how to block out? bad subbing overall terrible coaching.
