i'd think he would know how the team is doing. it isn't hard to check lsusports.net to see their record.

Why would Shaq be required to keep up with LSU? It's doubtful they are in his top ten conversation topics right now.
He should do what I'm doing. Ignore this season. Pretend it was a tree that fell in the forest and maybe it didn't really happen.

No one said he's required, but most athletes keep up with their alma mater. It dosen't require a whole lot of time.

I'm sure he does keep up with LSU from time to time. Big Baby and Shaq were just making small talk and thats the sound bite the reporter heard.
