For the record: this bum-arse "academic" took Daddy's job at Murray State as President...as junior faculty. Max nepotism. Then he went to Cal State Long Beach where he increased enrollment, yet decreased the size of the faculty. He then moved to LSU, where he has presided over the biggest gut job of a flagship university in the history of higher education.
So spare me the cheap talk. frick this guy. He's a worthless grifter who hasn't earned shite.

As it relates to F King, it was Booby who threw F King a bone, not JBE. F King has done the bare-arse minimum in making a "stand" for higher ed cuts -- core of the university continues to rot under his watch... Hasn't worked to create a bureaucracy that supports faculty; has a bottom-feeder and incestuous HR; and certainly hasn't bothered to fight to keep faculty compensation competitive.

I watched it and I came away thinking of King in a more positive light, but I'm still on the fence. I would like to hear more about what he has screwed up and "he is a prick" just isn't a good argument
