Serious question about the way Miles talks

First off this is not about him being stubborn on offense or any coaching ability but more about how the man constructs a sentence when he talks. Is something wrong with this man that we don't know about? Have you ever met anyone in your life who speaks like him? Is he retarded and just knows football well, or is he just a real genius? Sorry for all the questions but I just don't understand.

Not sure if he's retarded, but what makes you think he knows football well?

he is smarter than he looks. He knows how to play the crowd. He did not keep the job this long by not being smart. He might not be the best decision maker on football. But he can play the crowd

He has a economics degree from Michigan. I'm pretty sure he's not retarded, just weird.

It is he who is playing the fools, that last until the fools get tired of being played, appears that time is up, he wasn't smart enough to cut and run last year with a big buyout...

BS he isn't that smart, he kept his job because of his expensive guaranteed contract. His agent must be smarter than our AD, and that is the only intelligence assessment to be drawn from him keeping his job.

Wasn't really his fault. He wasn't fired. If he quits he doesn't get the big buyout.

Football players don't get academic "assistance" in the big 10?

This is from Dandy Don this morning quoting Les Miles from his luncheon:

quote:

In the Q&A part of the luncheon, Miles was asked if there is a part of him that regrets not giving Etling a chance in the Wisconsin game. Miles responded by saying, “I have to be real honest with you, I don't think we were in the same position. I don't think the team was, and I don't think Danny was. I think that really his -- he really came into -- in the last two weeks, 10 days, into a much higher -- executing at a much higher rate and just understanding more. He's continued to improve.”

Miles could have negotiated a buyout package.

If this is true than he is not qualified to coach just like Hillary with Parkinson disease is not qualified to be President.

Need to see his medical exams. Could there be a clause in contract for a developing disease state to cancel contract without paying him?

I think he doesn't want to answer the questions truthfully. Bc of that, he always seems to stutter when he's trying to make up the answers and phrase things in a way that protects his team. He doesn't sound that way when he's talking to his players bc he's being forthright with them.
