Seems they are getting hot at just the right time.

We got this.

I said the same thing. They realized that they can hang with the best team in the country and turned their intensity up a notch.

They also realized they can have a lead an lose it.

They now need to learn that they need to play the entire game.

Their slow start today will result in a loss to stronger teams

This team is improving. We have a bright future

Same thing happened last season after almost beating Kentucky. LSU was really struggling last season before the UK game. They just lost to Auburn and Mississippi State. LSU responded well and went 4-1 after the Kentucky loss.

This season they were kind of still sputtering. But they've turned it on again.

I posted about this right after the OU loss.

the two teams they played this week are a combined 5-15 in conference play. the tigers should have looked good.

I think we've continued to get better once we've had the entire team intact and playing together.

The @Vandy win started it.

The @UF loss was ALL ON THE REFS.

The @TAMU loss, folks forget we lead that game and couldn't buy a shot from 12 minutes or so left and ended up getting punked.

The v. OU loss, Buddy Hield decided to highlight reel us, otherwise we win.

IMO we've been on track for a while now and we continue to grow. Simmons and Victor are brand new additions to the team. Same with Blakeney. Not getting Hornsby back until mid December hurt the team gelling as well. Along with TQ pouting and having to be demoted for 4 games.

Any reasonable observer can see once the pieces have been in place and getting to play together and figuring out their roles, LSU has been very solid squad. Top 25 worthy IMO. It's the taste left from 7-5 in Nov/Dec OOC that's remained.

Many teams struggle to close out games, many teams just come out flat, LSU isn't the exception here.

For me, I'm liking what I see. 8-2 SEC, 8-3 overall since calendar flipped.

Just need to continue to build on it.

They came so close to beating them I think it made them believe in them selves.

Just bumping this...

And wondering why the 4 downvotes decided not to explain their reasons.

All responses so far have been supportive of the team and OP.

ETA: except for one
